Small Change Makes a Big Difference

The Shaw Trust helps disadvantaged people prepare for work and find employment throughout the UK. At the heart of their purpose is the understanding of fulfilment and identity that useful employment brings. The trust’s role in helping disadvantaged people join the working population is important in creating the inclusive society which epitomises modern Britain.

TheJobPost identifies strongly with the Shaw Trust’s aims and as a consequence, we have made fundraising for them an important feature of our business. For every vacancy that is posted by a new employer, TheJobPost will donate £10 up to a maximum of a £1000 in each of the first three months of our launch; thereafter we will donate £5 up to a maximum of £500 for the next nine months. In addition, for every placement made at our minimum guide rate of 15% of the candidate’s salary, our recruiter partners will donate £100 to the Shaw Trust and for those placements where the employer has agreed a rate higher than the minimum, the donation will be increased by £20 for each additional percentage point. In this way the employer, the recruiter and TheJobPost will work together to support this worthy cause.
